There are two types of live interpreting - consecutive and
simultaneous.
* Consecutive
Interpreting is generally used in smaller meetings or at court hearings,
delegations, for notary public documents etc, and does not necessarily need any
special equipment.
* Simultaneous
Interpreting requires a professional sound system that includes booths,
headsets and the services of a sound engineer.
Kalimerais able to provide both types of interpreting as well as
proper equipment - with the common thread being an intuitive understanding of
both languages that makes every translation make sense, even at speed.
Kalimerainterpreters cover over 14 languages and have been chosen
not only for their linguistic skills, but also for their technical expertise.
Our interpreters are experts in the techniques of interpreting and are
sensitive to cultural nuances of conducting business in a foreign language.
